Goal.com are reporting that the agent of Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta has stated that Fulham is a very likely destination for his client.
Iaquinta has been linked with Fulham over various points of the summer after it became clear that life with the Serie A champions isn't quite how he planned it. He didn't appear for Juve on a single occasion last season and was eventually shipped out on loan to Cesena, where he managed one goal in seven games.
Despite Juve's outright ignorance of his role in the team - and despite a tawdry return of goals with Cesena - Iaquinta is still considered hot property, with his most impressive displays coming in his seven years at Udinese. At 32, however, there is some doubt over whether he quite fits the bill for Martin Jol, who is known to be keen to bring in younger, fresher recruits in a bid to reduce the average age of the squad.
The words of the player's agent, Andrea D'Amico, though, suggest the interest from Jol really is there.
"We are verifying a number of different options for Iaquinta in Italy, but especially in England," D'Amico told Calcio Sport 24.
"Fulham? That is a concrete possibility."
