It has been reported tonight that Fulham have won the signature to sign free agent and former Hamburg striker Mladen Petric, allowing Martin Jol to work again with a player he coached during his spell at Hamburg.
The 31 year old Croatian striker scored 38 goals in 98 games for Hamburg, including a fantastic free kick at Craven Cottage in the Europa League semi final in 2010.
Malaga, Deportivo and Real Sociedad had all looked to sign Petric but it's been reported this evening that Fulham have won the race to sign the 6'1" striker and that he will be re-united again with Martin Jol. He is expected to arrive in Lindon on Thursday for a medical.
