We're Going On A Tour Of The Faroe Islands! And Probably Northern Ireland!
Fulham has drawn Faroese side NSÍ Runavík in the first round of Europa League Qualifying. NSÍ Runavík finished third in the Faroe Islands Premier League last season. The first leg will be at the Craven Cottage on June 30th and the second at Tórsvøllur, a 6,000 seater, on July 7th. The winner will face Crusaders of Northern Ireland in the second round of qualifying. An excellent draw. Runavík is something like 750 miles from London, while Crusaders is in Belfast and less than half of that away. No exceptionally long distances to travel and two sides that shouldn't inspire much trepidation.
