Eidur Gudjohnsen Signs With Stoke City

I had this morning a post that Eidur Gudjohnsen was on the verge of signing with Fulham. Now, I have a story that he will be moving to a different team. According to the Daily Mail, Gudjohnsen has signed a loan deal with Stoke City for the year with his parent club Monaco.

The story mentions that the Icelandic striker decided to go to Stoke City instead of heading to Fulham. Unfortunately, Fulham lost out on adding another striker before the end of the transfer deadline.

Jway, I don't think that is the case at all.

I think it was a situation where Gudjohnsen will probably a main focus of Stoke City. He would have had a real good impact at Fulham, but it just might have been better situation for him.

Fulham I think are very appealing. They brought Halliche, Salcido, and Demele who all wanted to play for the club. They have upgraded the side over the summer.

I am very encouraged by the direction of the club. A top seven spot this season is very attainable.
