There has been much speculation lately surrounding Paul Konchesky possibly making a move to Liverpool. Well, I just saw this speculation regarding a player who could potentially be his replacement. According to Sky Sports, Fulham are putting together an offer to bring PSV defender Carlos Salcido to Craven Cottage.

Carlos Salcido is a 30 year old left back. He is a Mexican International who did play for his country in the World Cup. His current club is PSV Eindhoven. The article discusses that he has been with his current club for four years. The Sky Sports story also mentions that Salcido could be taking the place of Paul Konchesky who has been rumored to have interest from Liverpool.

At this time this story is still speculation. I will have an update on the Salcido story when more information is available. I will also be following any news regarding Paul Konchesky and potential interest from Liverpool.
