I just saw this speculation that indirectly could involve Fulham. According to the Metro, Arsenal are opening discussions with Manchester City regarding goalkeeper Shay Given. The story discusses that Manchester City could be interested in a loan move only that would have a recall clause.

The Metro story continues to mention that Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger would rather it be a permanent transfer deal for Manchester City goalkeeper. The story continues to discuss that both clubs would like to work something out before the weekend.

If this speculation becomes reality than more than likely Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer would not be leaving for Arsenal and the Emirates. I will continue to follow the the Shay Given story and its links between Arsenal and Manchester City. It will be interesting to follow if Given actually ends up to play at the Emirates for Arsenal. I will have an update when more information is available.
