Very seriously, now:

I need to know the best way to warn Roy Hodgson what he is getting into; I live in Fort Worth, Texas, where 2 of our local teams are owned by the co-owner at Liverpool, Tom Hicks.

ROY: DUE DILIGENCE!

Tom Hicks is as despicable a dishonest, sleazy con man as walks the earth; he has decimated both the Texas Rangers Baseball team and the Dallas Stars ice hockey team.  His word is meaningless; he is in default on more than $525 million in loans, yet he wants to behave like an oil sultan.  His business and sports decisions have all been idiotic, but most of all HE IS BROKE.  He hopes to fleece someone in the sale of Liverpool FC, but before that happens he will strip it bare.  Mohammed may be reluctant to spend with so small a ground, but he seems an honest man, and his checks are good; neither are so with Hicks.  Consider the England job if you must, but check Hicks out before you take the Liverpool job.  If any Fulham supporters can get this to Roy, PLEASE do it.  He doesn't deserve the misery of working for a weasel like that.
