Cottagers Confidential Fan Poll: Do Liverpool Fans Want Roy Hodgson As Their New Manager?
For the past two weeks I have done fan polls on who Liverpool fans want as their new manager. Please feel free to check the fanposts section for the results. This week I have a more targeted poll question.
With all the speculation regarding Roy Hodgson and Liverpool's managerial job I was curious how the Liverpool fans thought about him possibly coming to Anfield. I am big fan of Hodgson and thinks he has done tremendous job at Fulham. I hope he stays at Craven Cottage. But, what do Liverpool fans think of the Fulham manager?
Below is the New Cottagers Confidential Poll entitled " Do Liverpool Fans Want Roy Hodgson As Their New Manager?" Please feel free to check it out and also leave a comment if you like. I would really be curious of the reasons fans voted no or yes.

Do Liverpool fans want Hodgeson
That would be a big no, not because I have anything against the man, he’s done a great job at Fulham it’s more that I would love to see a true LFC ledgend that is Kenny Dalglish given the opportunity to stabilise the team, make sure the big players stay at the club and install a bit of pride back in the club again. If Roy comes i’ll support him wholeheartedly but would prefer Kenny
If I was a supporter of Liverpool I would want one of my own.
I totally get you wanting Dalglish. Again, here is a man that is a legend at Liverpool. If I was on the board of Liverpool he would be my choice. He already represents what Liverpool is about.
I think Roy is an excellent manager and will do great wherever he manages next season.
I am still puzzled why the Liverpool board will not hireDalglish. To me it makes no sense to pass on Dalglish.

Do Liverpool Fans Want Roy?
No. As philpool says nothing against Roy but I would like someone who could manage us for years to come and would want to come and build a legacy. At Roys age he would be retiring before he had a chance to complete a rebuild of our club because that is what it will need once we have new owners in place. (hopefully sooner rather than later) Roy should stay and continue his great job at the cottage and spend some of the 1.5 billion your owner has just pocketed! :o)
You made a great point about Roy's age.
You would think Liverpool would want someone a little younger and that plans on being there for a long time. Thank you for your feedback.
